Early Learning Resources for Parents and Caregivers
Early literacy begins at home, but knowing the best way to get started can be intimidating for new parents. Did you know that infants in utero can hear voices? That's right, early literacy can be as simple as reading to your child and you can start before they're even born. There are plenty of other ways to introduce literacy at home. Below are some helpful links and videos to get you started. If you are interested in learning more join us for our early literacy workshop lead by Associate Professor Laura Bingley, Ed.D. of the University of California. More information on this can be found on our special events page.
