Clubs

Penguin Paradise Public Library offers a variety of clubs for children to engage and explore.

Lego Club

When: Sundays at 2pm

Who: Ages 3 and up

Where: Macaroni Room

Why: The benefits of participating in Lego Club are far reaching. This STEM activity strengthens fine motor skills, develops spatial awareness, encourages persistence and problem solving, engages the imagination, and it's fun!

Craft Corner

When: Saturdays at 10am

Who: 5 to 10 years

Where: Chinstrap Room

Why: Get those creative juices flowing at craft corner. Each week participants will be able to choose from participating in a prepared art activity or they can create their own masterpieces with the provided materials.

Book Club

When: Thursdays at 6pm

Who: Children in Grades 2-4

Where: Emperor Room

Why: Dive into reading with our young elementary book club! Explore a new book every few months chosen by club participants. Each week they will gather to discuss chapters read at home and engage in reading a chapter together. Before club ends they will decide on how many chapters to read for the next meeting.

Play and Learn

When: Mondays at 9am

Who: 0-5 Years

Where: Adelie Room

Why: A special time for parents and caregivers to come together with their little ones to socialize and play. This program supports the development of friendships while engaging in fun learning activities.
